On March 13th employees of “Optic Fiber Systems” JSC took part in the Health Day, organized on the basis of the Ski Biathlon Center of the Republic of Mordovia.

General Director of “Optic Fiber Systems” JSC A.V. Nikolaev and First Deputy General Director V.V. Novokschenov made a welcoming speech at the opening of the event.

Merry physical exercises helped to warm and cheer up in the frosty air.

Four teams competed for the victory in the relay race.

The tournament of floorball was accompanied by active fans support.

The women's and men's ski mass start passed in the best traditions of sports competitions.

Winners of the competitions received cups and medals from the hands of Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer Vlasov M.U.

“Optic fiber Systems” JSC (www.rusfiber.ru) – is the first Russian plant manufacturing optical fiber. The plant is situated in Saransk, Mordovia Republic. It  was officially opened September 25^th,  2015. The shareholders of the company are RUSNANO, Gazprombank, the Government of Mordovia Republic.

Today it is a modern high-tech manufacturing with a capacity of 2,4 million km of optical fiber per year. While based on the scheduled upgrade project the capacity of the plant will be increased to 4 mln kilometers of optical fiber per year.

Currently there are the most popular types of the fiber – optical fibers of G652d and G657A1/G652d standards - are serially produced at the plant. The both types of the fiber are certified and were successfully tested by OJCS Rostelecom. Optical fibers of other types are planned to produce.
