The awards ceremony of the “Best goods of Mordovia” Contest was held on the 30^th of November 2017 in the Mordovia State National Drama Theater.

In an executive order of the Head of the Republic, “Optic Fiber Systems” JSС was awarded the “Honor of Mordovia” prize “for uniqueness of the production and its significance for strengthening of economic potential and public image of Mordovia” as cited. The enterprise is also an awardee of the “Best goods of Mordovia” prize among industrial and technology products.

In 2017 “Optic Fiber Systems” will produce more than 1.5 million km of optical fiber, and as of the 4^th quarter of 2017 process utilization will exceed 75%.

The Contest organizers noted, that the enterprises of Mordovia showed their concernment in producing high quality and commercially viable goods. Today the republic outputs are appreciated in the home and export markets. The producers of Mordovia compete not only with surrounding regions, but also with Western producers, who try to draw Russian customers. Up to 80% of local production is on export sale. The government of the Republic set out to grab new export markets.

In follow up of the Contest the guidance and the personnel of “Optic Fiber Systems” accepted voluntary obligations to provide persistent quality and keep on high level of customer appeal of the products.
